I bought a peet planter along with seashell cosmos, bright lights cosmos, columbines, Dolly Madison lilies and Bernini lilies. I need the ground to warm up so my lily bulbs be planted and the seeds are indoors, sprouting soon. 

I've never grown anything from start to finish. I buy plants that someone else has maintained and then I somewhow forget them. I see the finish (which is just a dry plant somewhere on a shelf.) I feel no shame in saying I'm terrible with plants. But I really feel I can do it this time.
